though I have not convinced him to read more than the posts about bookmarks on the MP page. Now that he has read all the novels but S&S, I will probably have to read some history thing to reciprocate, and we will have nice conversations about Paul Revere or Lewis & Clark. As comic diversion during his MP read, he read Bridget Jones' Diary. He is a college biology professor, and reads diverse and interesting things, much more non-fiction than I do but open to suggestions. I just asked him what the best novel he ever read was, and he said Emma!!!! or CP Snow's "The Masters". He's English, and he never watches TV except for sports (World Cup season, what an ordeal).
My boss (male) and I also exchange books. He just lent me a Nick Hornby (About a Boy), and I lent him BJ Diary. His wife stole it from him before he was finished.
