My husband is an avid military history buff. His main interest is Civil War(mainly Gettysburg) and WWII(mainly Normandy). He reads everything he can get his hands on regarding these battles(and he owns hundreds and hundreds of books on this). He is also an avid hiker and loves reading about hiking, and Mountain climbing especially those by Jon Krakauer and others about Mt Everest.
My 12 year old loves RL Stein. And my 8 year old loves The Zack Files.
I am proud to say we are a reading family.
