Back to the LibraryMy husband and I have almost the same taste in books (can't say the same for music and movies though). We read everything from Tom Clancy and James Clavell (a favorite with me) to The Scarlet Pimpernel (which Shawn introduced me to) and Watership Down and non-fiction books. I'm fortunate that he loves to read the same books as I do and we have huge book shelves filled with our little "treasures". He's never read Jane Austeen however during a trip to South Florida last year I read P&P to him in the car (captive audience) and he really enjoyed it. He remembers still who is who in the book and what they are doing and will discuss it with me whenever I bring the subject up (which is a lot since I'm writing a fan fic). Also I have to give him credit for introducing me to Calvin and Hobbes. Why did I never see those cartoons before? I think I'll go give him a great big kiss now. ;)
