Latin American authors

It seems like there's been a surge in interest for Latin American writers ever since "Like Water for Chocolate" caught the fantasies of women around the world. I'm a huge huge fan of Spanish-language literature (Latin American and Spain). My favorites are Gabriel Garcia Marquez (of course), Jorge Luis Borges (the master of short stories) and Miguel de Unamuno. But I can't find anybody else that I know who shares this interest with me.
