A Plug for Trollope

In reading the different message boards and the Library Archives I don't see any significant posts for Anthony Trollope. I suspect that most Pemberlonians would find his books, most particularly the "Barsetshire Chronicles," very interesting, absorbing, and worthy of close attention. He writes about the same social class as Jane, albeit 30 to 40 years after her time and, mutatis mutandis, many of the basic themes are quite similar to hers, without, to be sure, her shimmering perfection. Trollope wrote a massive amount of stuff, all of it very worthwhile, most of which I haven't read except for the Barchester books and a couple of others, but I wholeheartedly recommend these particular books to Jane people.
