Do you mean the version with Sean Bean from BBC in 1991? Because I just watched it recently and really enjoyed it. However, I have only read Pamela and not Clarissa (it's length is somewhat daunting), so I have no idea how faithful it is. I'd be interested to know why you dislike it.
