Tenant has always been my favourite, though perhaps it does tie with Jane Eyre , but I think I read Emmily's book first, then Anne's, and then I finally got to Charolette's, because for some funny reason, I had always thought JE to be a stuffy boring book about an ugly governess. Boy was I proved wrong when I read it!! Absolutely wonderful stuff!!
