Just another note on classic books: I just read The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins, and plan to start The Moonstone shortly. I really liked The Woman in White. Anyone else have some opinions on his books?

When I first tried I found The Moonstone hard going. Fortunately, I found it on tape and listening to it acquaited me with Collins' style enough for to be able to read The Woman in White in a couple of days before the film was shown. Good writer if a bit verbose by today's minimalist standards.
