my library tends to favor the Recorded Books versions you mention, occasionally a different source turns up. I am addicted to taped books because I get a guaranteed 50 min of listening per day commuting. I end up talking about boooks I've listened to, and at the Cape meeting Laura asked me, don't you ever READ anything?
Currently I am listening to "Master and Commander", the first in the series of Patrick O'Brien's Regency nautical books. I assure you, there are a lot of passages I would skip if I were actually reading!
