"Ruby in Paradise", an award winning movie about a young girl finding herself in a modern watering place (Panama City, Florida) has a sequence in which a friend recommends NA, Ruby reads and likes the story, friend tells her that JA writes about the most comon subjects and situations and manages to critique all of her society and ours in the process.
