And the men never inquire, but the women are all too curious--except of course for Mrs. Ferrars whose words and ideas are numerically matched. I think my favorite villainous folks are Fanny Dashwood (heartless greed) Mrs. Norris (obsessive greed) and Mr. Elliot (hypocritical greed).
