] I thought we might then spend a week (July 5-11) considering how JA the plot might have been developed. Who were the major characters going to be and how might the narrative have progressed?
] July 12-18: Novels that allude to Jane Austen, either directly or indirectly: we will try to gather a list of as many as possible to add to the Recommended Reading Board.
] If anyone knows when "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" will be showing in the US, can you let me know? It would be great to scedule a reading of this around the time of the broadcast.
I e-mailed the A&E network and asked for the airing date. The reply
said that as of yet there is not a date. I'm to check back in about
two months.
