Announcement - new MP board, and some Library changes....

I hope by now you've all checked out the new Mansfield Park board, where you'll be able to discuss the relative merits of Henry and Edmund, and Fanny's wussiness, to your hearts' content!

I wanted to update you about a few changes here in the library.

The Library will continue to be the place for discussing Northanger Abbey, and JA's minor works, as well as general JA literary discussion. It will also become the place for all other book related discussion (except for books about JA's life and times, which are discussion on the Life and Times Board). So posts about recommended reads and other bookish questions should be posted here.

We will continue to have "group reads" here in the library, but these will not necessarily be continuous - we will try to co-ordinate with other boards so that a group read on, say, the MP board will not necessarily overlap wiht one here. We may have other kinds of book related discussions (such as the one I have sceduled for several weeks along on "books which allude to JA")

Finally, I will be leaving the US shortly and returning to Australia and a much more demanding job. As a result I won't be able to host the library for much longer. Jane, who is from Boston, and a RoP oldtimer will be taking over shortly. I will continue to update the recommended reading board, which does not require such regular attention.
