We are discussing the fragment of "The Watsons" until July 4.
I thought we might then spend a week (July 5-11) considering how JA the plot might have been developed. Who were the major characters going to be and how might the narrative have progressed?
July 12-18: Novels that allude to Jane Austen, either directly or indirectly: we will try to gather a list of as many as possible to add to the Recommended Reading Board.
If anyone knows when "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" will be showing in the US, can you let me know? It would be great to scedule a reading of this around the time of the broadcast.
