Also by the same author--they were republished in one volume in the early '80s by, I believe, Virago Press. They were originally written 30 years apart, and the latter work is the more mature & good natured, IMHO. In fact, I'd say that I prefer TSDH to TSAC, on the whole. But they are both entertaining reads well worth the investment of time & money.
