Off the top of my head, it was 1803-4 ish. After NA, the first drafts of P&P and S&S but well before they were published, and well before MP, Emma and P were written.
As to why she never finished, there are different theories. It was around the time the family moved to Bath, and her father's death. Claire Tomalin thinks that she became depressed, and suffered from writer's block as a result of all the changes in her life. Others simply say she got too busy.
Any one else know anything about this?
