In the list -somewhere in Pemberley- it is included:
"a weekend with Wickham at Las Vegas"
Well, I don't see why it would be a punishment! Wickham was charming, interesting, good-looking, used to waste a lot of money. I think a weekend with him at Las Vegas would be wonderful; he would treat you to everything and everywhere and keep your spirits up.
The problem with Wickham is that he is not reliable. Marriage with him would be a punishment, or having him as your stock broker.
