Any final thoughts on Earnest...

Is it a light weight frippery, or something more profound?

Is there anything more than the surface trivialities and witticisms?

Is Wilde saying something about the importance of honesty and sincerity (ernestness...)? or is he just laughing at the total insincerity of Society?

any thoughts?
