] What is it like?

It is about 15 miles along the coast from Brighton and it used to be a fashionable seaside resort. It has a pier. These days it is mainly older people who live there, it is a favourite place to retire to.

To the north of it is some lovely countryside and hills called the south downs.

As I said before it used to be a fashionable seaside resort especially in Victorian times. All along the seafront there are lots of old Victorian Hotels and the general architecture of Worthing is Victorian and there is also quite a bit of 1920s/30s influence when I think that Worthing was also popular.

I like Worthing. It has a charm about it.......I'll see if I can find any photos of it to post! :-)
