A fact that I am always proud of when discussingThe Importance of being Earnest is that I grew up around and went to school in Worthing.....yes it is a real place!!
Apparently Oscar Wilde used to enjoy spending his summers there. I think that he was actually meant to have written The Importance of being Earnest in Worthing!
As you can imagine The Importance of being Earnest is a favourite text with the English teachers of Worthing!!
I know that I still enjoy it!! :-)
