Count me in. After my very first reading, I like (and identify with) Fanny and what drives and motivates her. I evaluated her on her own merit, didn't try to compare her to other Austen heroines. I'm not sure Edmund really deserves her, but she has a strong (and under-stated) way of making him stand tall and true. You would get the idea that is to be admired by me, and you would be correct. I think I am ready to see the video and begin the confusion of how others see these two interacting. I had a much easier read of this novel, than I did of "Emma". "Emma" was a laborious read for me.
