Has there been a discussion of "Sophie's World" by Jostein Gaarder?
If not, may I kick off by saying it's a good read, and the best introduction to philosophy I've ever come across: the idea of explaining the history of western philosophy to a couple of bright fifteen year olds is an excellent device.
