Generation gaps are nothing new

Sounds like any early-teenage girls (apart from the fainting, anyway!) I certainly remember having brief passionate 'best-friendships', and swearing life-long devotion.
] I didn't realize that Jane Austen lived in such a rebellious time--young people doing exactly opposite of what their parent say.
So what's new? I think every generation does this, probably ever since we were cave-dwellers and some youngster thought of moving out!
The book is hysterical. I love the advice to have fits of hysteria rather than faint. LOL!
