Small writing gives me a headache to read. For some unknown reason I find books more romantic when they are hardback. (it's easier to dry flowers in them too! :) I was just seeing if maybe someone else thought the same. Oh well!


I agree with you completely! The print in paperbacks has gotten smaller and the covers are often terribly flimsy. Also, books seem much more important when they are hardbacked. The weight and larger size lends them a dignity not present in their slighter paperbacked editions. Hardcovers imply a kind of permancance that books with cover that come ungummed. sometimes in the first reading, do.
