OK this may be a little far fetched

Back to the Librarybut, don't you think that there are some traces of JA's novels in "Three Sisters"?.

For instance Mary-Mr. Watts-Mr. Bunedell reminds me of Maria Bertram-her fiancee-Henry. Mary feels contemp for Mr. Watts but is going to accept him for his money, Mary admires Mr. Brunedell and Mr. Watts is a fool. OK, not very much, but perhaps she picked up this idea later on and had it transformed in a part of MP.

Also, Mary's eagerness to be married first, and to "chaprone" her sisters are quite "Lydialike".

And the relationship between Georgiana and Sophy is fainlty suggestive of the one between Jane and Lizzy.

Well, just an idea! :-)
