To an extent... he's the possible dream but I think Fanny sets her sights too low. Anne, Lizzy, etc., may not have seen much of the world but they had a wider experience in many respects than Fanny and were better equipped to choose husbands. I always felt that Fanny married for gratitude, that her love was more rational than passionate.
