I personally like MP, though you must agree that is not as much fun as JA's other novels. Perhaps it is because it has a sort of story-with-moral approach which is not present in the others. And the heroe is not so interesting as Darcy or Mr. Knightly or Captain Wentworth or Henry Tilney. In fact, I think that both him and Edward Ferrars lack "oomph".
