] I have always like Henry Crawford. For one thing, he's short like me. Most authors concentrate entirely on tall men as if shorter males don't have their share of charm, intelligence and humour. Still, this isn't the only reaseon I Like Henry. JA seems to put a large percentage of the masculine wit into the mouths of those characters she chooses to call Henry. I would love for either Henry Crawford or Henry Tilney to ask me to dance. We would have a truly wonderful time on the dancefloor. I would laugh all night and hope that I have the wisdom to know that HC's musing mean nothing; while HT's teasings are much more pointed.
