Bouncing back?

Back to the Library... Henry Crawford and Mr. Elliot you feel will bounce right back into the game, so there's no use feeling too much for them....

Does this mean that once they've got what they came for, or 'conquered this', so to speak, they are not interested any more? I wonder ... there is something fascinating about Henry Crawford ... but I have only read MP once so I was not prejudiced when I met him. His rakish nature was of course obvious, but as mentioned above it can be captivating ...and compared to Edmund, he was a relief ...

Maybe it's better to bounce, than to lie still all your life? ;-)
