No! I don't know why people have this impression.
Especially on this board, where we are having fairly serious discussions, I think it is important for people to feel free to expand on their ideas. I, for one, like long, well thought-out posts. We are here to discuss these books, and that is not easy to do in small posts. Please feel free to discuss topics at length.
(Though, when responding to a previous person's post, it helps to delete most or all of that person's post from the message window--keeping only that part you are directly commenting on--Snip!)
