It's been so long, but isn't Viper a gargantuan horse? According to the book, he is 19 hands high. I seem to recall that 10 hands high is kind of regulation for a full-grown horse, so Viper is twice as big???? (I even tried to do a simulation on my wall.)
Any horsewomen out there?
