I read that article, and the writer's affection for Jane is so obvious it's delightful. He actually spends relatively little time on the biographies. What I like most that he said is how P&P is such a perfect novel that it's almost become "a point of honor" with critics to find fault with it.
As for me, I say unabashedly like Jenkyns (I think that was the author of the piece's name), that it is a novel without fault.
