OK, I'm trying to work out how Flora is related to the Starkadders. She says it's just by marriage, but she is a blood relative of everyone except Amos, I think
Ada Doom is Flora's Aunt (sister of her mother). It sounds like Ada went to CCF when she married (did she marry a Mr Doom?)
Her daughter Judith married Amos Starkadder (so have there always been Starkadders at CCF??) Judith is Flora's cousin.
Which makes Rueben, Seth and Elfine Flora's first cousins once removed. I think.
