I realize you are doing a VV on CCF, but to me the reason Flora gives for living with her relatives is important. I have seen the movie several times and all I remember is that she is going there for the experiences, which she will later use when she writes her great novel. Without getting into issues that might ****SPOIL**** the story for others who haven't seen the film or read the novel, she does in fact set out to do what she states on page 16, which is to alter their lives to suit her tastes.
All I am asking is if remembered because I couldn't. Seeing her statement on page 16 surprised me. I had always thought what she did while at CCF had not been premeditated.
