I wasn't reading along with the JA bio, so as soon as my copy of CCF (yes, ordered via Pemberley) I jumped into it. Very un-characteristically for me, I was so very glad to have seen the movie first! Perhaps because of my overall outlook these days, but I doubt I would have caught the humor written in, without having already had the visions from the movie in mind.
I will gladly rewatch CCF (the film), but I will be selling my copy of the book to the re-sale place at the first opportunity.
