Okay, the case with me and Fanny is that I understand her feelings, her thoughts, and her reactions. I think the reason why some people dislike her is because they do not understand her.
I have BEEN Fanny in many of the situations. I, too, am sometimes extremely shy and overcome by intimidation.
What some people don't realize is that contrary to popular belief, Fanny is no weakling. A weakling would have accepted Henry because of the increasing pressure. Having to face an angry Sir Thomas was her worst fear, but she faced it, in the light of doing the right thing.
