I finally finished Tomalin. I cried at the end, though I think I cried more for Cassandra the survivor than for Jane's death. After watching her sister's health deteriorate before the end, Cassandra then had to arrange the practical matters afterward: sending out the mementos to friends and family and later deciding what to do with the letters. How painful that must have been.
