Finishing the book

I found, that the more ill Jane became in the book, the harder it was to make myself finish it! It's not like I didn't know this was going to happen, but... :-} But I did finish it last night and found the passages dealing with her death to be very moving in their simplicity.
I have really enjoyed this biography. I have started and never finished others, but this one (even with its problems) made Jane and her whole family come alive for me. I'm now ready to move on to the James Austen-Leigh Memoir (which I purchased just before the Tomalin read began) and reread the letters with a clearer understanding of the people in Jane's life and her story.
