Chawton

I have to confess I breathed a sigh of relief when Jane & Co finally settled in Chawton. It must have been awful to be moving around all the time, never knowing quite where you'd be going next, and dependent on some male relative to be going at the right time for you.
It is also a relief for Jane finally to get published. It is incredible that she waited SO LONG for this, and then all the books came out in a rush.
