Yes! Perhaps this why, although I would love to see them, I don't begrudge Cassandra's actions re the letters after Jane's death. No one knew Jane better or would know Jane's wishes regarding her private matters than Cassandra. I've always felt that in destroying Jane's letters, she was doing what Jane herself would want, and how can we argue with that? ;-)
