] I agree with you about the Duke of Kent. I found it odd that HE was inheriting Rosings Park. I guess I assumed that there is more than one family of note in Kent, but maybe not! He was some kind of cross between a frog and a car salesman, huh?
Maybe some types are timeless. However, JA's "villains" are more believable, don't you think? The Duke was more of a caricature.
