] True, he didn't marry until 1818 (I just checked a royal site), but I feel it would be HIGHLY unlikely that he would be courting Georgiana Darcy, as opposed to someone of a higher rank.

I agree with you about the Duke of Kent. I found it odd that HE was inheriting Rosings Park. I guess I assumed that there is more than one family of note in Kent, but maybe not! He was some kind of cross between a frog and a car salesman, huh?
