I loved S&S. I loved the character of Marianne and it broke my heart to see her loss of innocence and suffering. I think that next to P&P, S&S is a favourite. Mansfield Park is probably the one I like less. I liked Northanger Abbey quite a lot, it made me laugh.
I think what makes S&S so interesting is exactly the study of both sistersīcontrasting characters and their relationship. I remember, when I saw the film, I was more interested in the sisters than in their lovers. And I identified with both in different departments. And I much rather prefer Elinor to Fanny Price, that`s for sure. At least Elinor is not boring.
