Quite a bit farther down this page, there was a thread about what types of things to read next, and the suggestion of possibly reading a play. I had suggested that we might want to read Sheridan's The Rivals, because it was one of the plays the young people at Mansfield Park proposed doing before settling on Lover's Vows . Now that we know that Jane saw this play performed by her brothers, and maybe even had a small part in it herself, I am even more interested in reading it.
