Lucy or Lucia?

] I'm not sure that Lucy's full name is "Lucia." I think Charlotte just calls her that because they're travelling in Italy, and it's the Italian version of her name. I read it as an affectation on Charlotte's part.
However she calls her Lucia at least in two other instances: 1) in the letter she writes to her.
2) when they are getting ready for dinner in Windy Corners
But even if Lucy's real name were Lucia, I agree with you in that it is an affectation on Charlotte's part.
