] Lucy should have been clued in when Cecil didn't get along with her mother and Freddy while George hits it off with her family right away! I suppose when she noticed that, she quickly shoved it away to the back of her mind because gosh, "I love Cecil and shall be his wife shortly!"


I find it a little distessing that for a while Lucy seems to be adopting Cecil's attitudes toward her family. I also want to hiss and boo when Cecil and his mother are talking about removing the Honeychurch from Lucy.
