- This from Cecil, who notices the split infinitives! I can only imagine that this shows his disgust for the Honeychurches.
And my favorite line from part 2 (Freddy speaking upon being introduced to George)
"How d'ye do? how d'ye do? Come and have a bathe."
Also, does anyone know if there is some meaning to the swimming words, "apooshoo" and "Apooshoo kouf"? It almost sounds like phoneticized French.
