] Exactly who or how do you decide which book to read together. I would like to know so that i could submit some of my favorites and get a good discussion going.
] Also, I would like to add that you all have inspired me to begin reading O&L which i would not have read until the movie came out on video!
Hi Dawn,
Well, it's kind of a complex process, but because I'm the host of this board I get to decide in the end. A couple of months ago we had a big "suggest books for reads" occasions, and we had lots and lots of suggestions. Mostly we read "classic" fiction, but not always, and often we read books that have a movie connections, but again, not always. We hope that what we read will help us read our favourite JA better ... but someimes the connections are a little obscure. If you are interested in suggesting some books, feel free to email me by clicking on my name at the top of this message. You are also welcome to suggest books for the recommended reading page in the same way.
I hope you will join us for our next read which is to be "A Room with a View" by EM Forster. You can find out what is coming up, by clicking on the "reading schedule" at the top of the Library page.
