Strong-minded?

You don't think Oscar and his father are strong-minded? For Oscar to leave the only home he's known and a father that he loves to live miserably with The Anglicans, took great strength and conviction in his own correctness. Or would you call that stubborness? ;-) And is that so different?

I don't agree with either of their actions, and you're right, I do want to smack them both, but a part of me envies their conviction... to be absolutely certain that you're doing what God wants you to do; it absolves you of the responsibility of choice, which can be attractive at times, even though I know that it's not the way it is. ;-)
