Thanks to you brave souls who continued the story for me. I think we have the making of some great fan fic here.
And I probably mean "carrying on" in more than one sense of the phrase! (Chimpanzees indeed!) ;D
I hope that in this version Catherine and Henry still end marrying even if they try living together first in a tiny studio apartment in a trendy/artsy part of London or New York where they are forced to incorporate all their books into the furnishings due to lack of space -- (I.e., tables made out of planks laid across stacks of books,etc.) while Henry tries to finish his dissertation and Catherine ventures out into the tough, unforgiving world of the international book trade or top secret military-industrial-medical espionage.
